My First Real Job
Yesterday I got my first real job--I don't consider my work at St. Paul Lutheran Afterschool Care a real job. Dad heard about this guy hiring cashiers but he was only hiring them the day before yesterday so he went in and got me an application and talked to the man in charge for me since I was still in Kirksville. Yesterday I rushed home so I could have an interview. I don't know if I'd call it an interview, he looked at my app and we immediately started filling out forms.I start at 9 am today. Quite a jolt for me, I like to give things time to settle. I'm working at Christian Discount Bookfair which is opening up by trees anad trends by Dexter Bar-B-Que--mmm...--and K's merchandise. I could be fun. I know today will be fun. The guys setting up are a hoot. What I worry about are the people like me that will be working there after it opens. I scare myself, I hope they don't scare me.
Now I'm asking myself, "Courtney, why the hell did you get up so early?" guess a couch just doesn't sleep like a bed.
I'd really like to have my furniture back, I can't believe I let them sell my furniture

found this old post thought i'd publish it,
the USA Today today highlighted transgenic-free crops today, or really the lack of which alerted me to the Union of Concerned Scientists. I think it's a group worth checking out.
